ViewShareRemix started out as an idea to create a mark for open movies, a complement and a side project to A Swarm of Angels. In the interim it has blossomed to become an idea for an open content portal, to promote and highlight this burgeoning field.

There are three core objectives to ViewShareRemix (VSR)
- to document open content projects
- to create ‘open marks’ for people to have an easy rating system of media openness
- to connect the people and projects together in this evolving creative space
